On July 15th, several people got together at Pat Peterson's place to build IFGS flats.
Here's the driveway where we built the flats. You can see most of the stations. The stacks of wood are coming from
the measuring and cutting station (not in the picture). Then there was the framing station. Against the fence on the
left is the painting station.
The cutting station. Hey - You don't think it's going to rain, do you? Nice, dark, threatening sky....
Commandant Mac is reviewing the flats. Nice goose-step!
It's amazing that he can walk like that while carrying flats.
Well, the sky has cleared up. The rain came and went, leaving 90-degree temperatures behind.
The painting race! (I think Ray is winning.)
You missed a spot....
Are you talking to me? Are you talking to me?
Dave Mac's butt. 'Nuff said.
Towards the end of the day, we all tried to huddle into the shade made by the garage.
Curly-Q!
Some of us still had some energy left....
...How long do you think she can hold that smile?
"If we turn over all the stones that we painted, nobody will notice."
"It's hot, it's late, I'm tired, just take the damn picture."
This is most of the crew. And most of the flats.
Take two, just in case.
And voila! 54 brand-new flats, ready to help abuse your characters.
