A note on the physical rating: The physical challenges of IFGS games are what we often remember most, so we want to include these in this game. We do not intend to make people run, sprint or climb the biggest hill we can find. We DO intend to challenge your strength and agility by having you crawl, climb (slowly), carry, dangle, lift, balance, jump, squeeze, wiggle, dance, and anything else we can manage.
A note on risk: It is possible to get through the game with no serious major detriment to anybody on your team. Nobody is getting a sex change; a species change, an alignment or knights code change. Somebody could potentially be killed dead and unrecoverable. It will be obvious where in the game. It is likely that at least half the team will come out of the game with minor negative change to the character. Lost life points, reduced spell points, loss of magic item and the like. In game support is limited. Consequences of poor decisions or resource management may increase risk of major detriment. It is possible to "lose" the game/not complete the quest.
A note on fighting: Some fights are avoidable - 50% or so. They may only be avoidable in the broadest sense of the word. Practically, your character may not be interested in avoiding them. Large combats are likely (20 people). These can be confusing and so add to risk and fighting ratings.
